The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is hosting a discussion on international norms and behavior in cyberspace with Marina Kaljurand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia. Minister Kaljurand will explain the political choices that Estonia has made about the role of ICTs in its economy, society, government and national security. She will also address the importance of international dialogue on norms, laws, and other confidence-building measures to promote responsible state behavior in cyberspace.
CSIS is gathering a broad range of experts alongside Minister Kaljurand to assess the state of international cyber policy, and to offer recommendations for stakeholders in government, academia, and the private sector on how to contribute to stability and security in cyberspace, and develop cooperative frameworks to address cyber threats.
